Bayeux, Ferme de la Rançonnière****

The Ferme de la Rançonnière is situated at the heart of Normandy, in Bessin, not far from landing beaches between Bayeux and Caen.
This hotel has a fortress look, it is a former Seigneurerie in XIIIè century with carved hall and big square yard. He was fitted out with 35 rooms allying the charm of the ancient, stone walls, exposed beams and modern comfort.
We find here antics furniture, large wardrobes, checked fabrics and velvet, floor-tiles on the ground ... there giving the impression you are invited at Isabelle's and Koen Sileghem home. Even the smallest chamber of the Ferme de la Rançonnière carries well its name : Mignonette!
