Poitiers, Château du Clos de la Ribaudière****

The Castle of the Clos de la Ribaudière is situated a few minutes from Poitiers and its Romanic treasures, near the Futuroscope.
Built in the end of the XVIIIth century by the knight Joseph de la Broue, the Castle of the Clos de la Ribaudière was accurately restored and annexes were built to enlarge the capacity of accommodation. At the bottom of the park runs a small river, le Clain. It reigns there a certain charm that we find especially in the rooms. In the materials of origin are added contemporary equipments, comfort obliges. In the appendix, rooms are big and cosy in hot and comfortable tones.
The immense dining room is in the castle but during the summer one will doubtless prefer a candlelit dinner outside on the terrace...
