To the south of Le Mans and five minutes from its famous car race circuit, the Golf des 24 Heures offers you its 18 holes course in the heart of a pine forest. Today's course is inside the circuit but on the side of the Hunaudières straight and the Mulsanne bend.
The British architect P. Pfenning has designed narrow fairways through the forest of pines, birches and acacias on a sandy ground like a links and ensuring excellent playing conditions throughout the year. The course is relatively short, 5742m, and the difficulty lies in staying on the "track" and pinching the ball well to hold it on fairly small and firm greens.
