If its current shape goes back up in 1992, the golf of Pornic is in reality one of the oldest of the region, because 9 holes of origin were created in 1912.
As most of the old French golf, that of Pornic was created at the time of the development of the first sea resorts to meet the expectations of an easy and often British clientele of vacationers. Eight decades after its inauguration, the course was enlarged in 18 holes by Michel Gayon, a necessary adaptation to meet the requirements modern golfers. In the first part in forest succeeds from now on an uncovered part, what returns this varied and interesting course. Strewed with numerous bunkers which oblige the caution, the set remains nevertheless affordable and pleasant for the players of any levels.
