Built in 1952 by American military based in Orleans, the Golf d'Orléans-Donnery still bears some remains as the clubhouse and the drawing which would have been advised by Arnold Palmer then military based in France. Redone in the 80s, it was taken over by the company Gaia in 2001 which rehabilitated it in new standards as the course was virtually abandoned at that time.
At the heart of the forest of Orleans, the course winds through the woods, making his major challenge, and requires a necessary precision game like on holes No. 5,6 and 7, all of them light dog- leg with well protected greens. No. 14 is a pretty par5 in S with a green surrounded by bunkers and a little water ... Well No. 18 is the toughest, long Par4 over 410m with a multi slopes green .
