Near Besançon and Vesoul, the Bournel Golf stretches in the beautiful park of Bournel castles built in the eighteenth century for the old castle, then another castle in the nineteenth by the Marquis de Moustier in a Gothic architecture created by a student of Viollet-le-Duc.
The course, a Par72 5880m, extends around the clubhouse using all features of the area, trees, cascading lakes and natural hilly land. This will not however the holes with water that will be the most difficult, the architect was able to try to scare you ... but he made the No. 6,9,17 and 18 particularly narrow with some traps very well placed and hard protected greens.
The return to the clubhouse will be a real reward as the architecture of the "old castle" is beautiful with its stone turrets and roofs of colored tiles. The hotel is also installed there.
