Le Moulin de Connelles****

Le Moulin de Connelles is situated in 30 minutes of Rouen and Giverny in Normandy. Built on an arm from the Seine in the XVIIè century, this manor house was also a mill intended to grind the wheat. Today the mechanism does not work any more but the set keeps all its character. The Manor house was acquired by Hubert Petiteau who transformed it into a charming hotel which we find today.
He proposes twelve suites and rooms luxuriously decorated with old furniture, toiles de jouy, exposed beams, parquets... All which makes the charm of the big houses.
Which more great pleasure than to get up in the morning and open windows to hear the nature and the rustle of the water. An invitation in the stroll, either on one of the nearby golf course, or simply in the park and the surrounding countryside at the water's edge.
At evening, the dinner is served in the big dining room with its old woodwork or on the terrace by tasting a crème brûlée of foie gras and a guinea fowl gilded in the frying pan...
