Situated between Cannes, Nice and Grasse, Opio Valbonne Golf Club is one of the jewels of French Riviera due to its exceptional geographical and climatic situation. The Golf is between sea and mountain, in the heart of a magnificent domain protected from 220 hectares pleasantly hilly and in the shade of hundred-year-old trees. A gallo-roman aqueduct overhang the course. The Clubhouse, a former country-house of the XVIIth century, was renovated and will welcome you before and after your round. Finally, you can have lunch to the golf restaurant which proposes a tasty and colourful Mediterranean cooking.
The course was drawn by the English architect Donald Harradine in 1966. Then important works were realized in 2002 by architect Robert Berthet. It is now a very pleasant course with many personality. The first 9 holes ask for a good control of the approaches and the irons whereas the return 9 holes requires long and regular wood. The plan of the course allied to various essences of trees will know how to seduce you and will fill you in your search for authenticity and for relaxation.
