The golf at Hôtel Golf Château de Chailly was designed by Gery Watine and Thierry Sprecher who strategically planted many varieties of trees to give the golf course many textures and colours (especially in the fall) and perfectly incorporated the natural stream that meanders the golf course. Although the greens are relatively large, golfers will need to attack the greens strategically as the greens are all raised, very well protected with deep green-side bunkers and some greens with imposing water hazards. This Par73 of 6160m is approachable while reserving a few surprises. The first holes begin quietly; No. 6, a pretty Par3 with its green surrounded by bunkers do not yet offer difficulties; they come now at No. 7, a 400m long Par4; No. 8 where you must pass your drive above the water, as the No. 10 ... but you are rewarded at No. 9 with its splendid view on the castle. No. 11 is a famous Par3 with a green well protected by water on the right and bunkers on the left ... The No. 17 is a long and dangerous Par4 with a complicated green. You will be rewarded again at No. 18 and you deserve it !
Our golf academy, with our two pros Mehdi and Lucas, are available all year to help golfers improve their golf game. They can develop training programs given the needs of the golfers ranging from a 60 minute golf initiation to an intense training program spanning over a few days. We have tools like the Trackman to given the best possible golf instruction.
Every year we host an annual Pro-Am towards the end of the summer. Over the last two years, we have welcomed golf pros from the European Tour, Ladies European Tour, LPGA and other golf circuits including golfers like Céline Herbin, Christian Cévaer, Raphaël Jacquelin, Gwladys Nocéra and Jean-François Lucquin.
