Situated on the banks of the Lake Léman, near Genève, Divonne was famous as holiday resort in particular his casino attracting the players all over the world. A golf was needed to breathe between two gambling set. It is in the middle of birches and pines that the golf architect Nakowski drew in 1931 this par72. He subtly used the landscape without stressing slopes, so the course remains playable but it is necessary to keep a certain vigilance and address to catch the well defended greens. The course was played by numerous world champions attracted by a peculiarity, an exact distribution of holes between pars 3, 4 and 5 which is rather inexpected.
Bought recently by the Group Partouche, the golf fits within the framework of a real and welcoming Resort with in particular the Pavillon restaurant and its terrace with a view on the Mont Blanc …
